Wet Weather Management

The strong replay feature of FFM effectively utilizes large amount of data to evaluate temporal and spacial details in a storm event and the consequences caused by the storm on the ground. This powerful feature gives Wet Weather Management and other stormwater managemnt decision makers an X-Ray machine to clearly pinpoint the problem areas and the possible severity of the problem. And, FFM can provide risk informed solutions for selection and evaluation of sewer system renovation, planning of new sewer systems, satalite treatment facility capacity, etc. All the decisions will have qualitaive calculation results as the solid basis.

Bio-Swales

In green space reservation, an effective and low cost green infrastructure is bio-swales. FFM can be used to access the effectiveness of bio-swales and provide the design basis for bio-swale planning, such as distribution and orientation of the bio-swales, highest capacity in mitigating stormwater and environment benefits. 

Other Green Infrastructure

FFM can also be directly used to qualitatively calculate the effectiveness and capacity of other green infrastructures such as rain gardens, stormwater water holding ponds, green roof, etc.
